Event Details

We all know success in business often hinges on collaboration. What you may not know is how effective, virtual collaboration is going to shape the future of your business and everyone else's.This is a class for forward thinkers who want to have answers when everyone else starts asking them.

Virtual collaboration is increasingly supported by a variety of online tools and environments. Email has been the default collaborative tool since most businesses started moving online, but we're approaching another evolutionary leap.

Google proposes to replace email with Wave, described as "a personal communication and collaboration tool." Wave merges features or patterns from email, wikis, instant messaging, and social networking in a robust system that is more than just an application. It is a web-based service, computing platform, and communication protocol. Jon will discuss how Wave is structured, and how its structure can support successful, robust, virtual collaboration that may completely change the way we work together.
